Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking Electrical Helpers for a project in Durham, NC. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.

You will assist with conduit, cable tray installations, wiring terminations, and electrical equipment setup on an active site. The role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment with PPE.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adherence to safety and general job training per SIC requirements.
• Observation of SIC and customer safety and quality processes at all times.

Responsibilities

• Identify tools required for tasks and ensure availability.
• Assist in cutting, bending, and running conduit per blueprints.
• Assist in installation and fabrication of cable trays and electrical equipment.
• Help terminate wires to breakers, control panels, and distribution systems.
• Assist in testing electrical components for continuity and proper voltage.
• Support setup and maintenance of temporary power systems and grounding.
