Jacobs is seeking a Construction MEP Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems for hyperscale data center projects in Spartanburg, SC. This on-site role requires coordinating with owners, contractors, design teams and vendors to ensure safety, quality, reliability, and operational performance.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience managing construction projects with complex MEP systems.
Minimum 5 years on mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, healthcare, or data center projects.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical construction practices.
Experience managing multiple MEP contractors and vendors.

Mansioni

Lead all MEP aspects of hyperscale data center projects from design review through turnover and commissioning.
Serve as the primary PM for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and critical infrastructure systems.
Coordinate MEP activities with the overall project schedule and sequencing plans.
Manage relationships with owners, design consultants, general contractors, and utility providers.
Provide leadership during preconstruction, procurement, installation, startup, commissioning, and closeout.
Lead construction coordination meetings and provide project status reporting.
Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and design changes.
Monitor contractor productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
Drive safety, quality, and cost controls across the project.
