Job summary

Harris Company in Bowie, MD is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to repair, install, maintain, and adjust equipment across commercial settings. You will troubleshoot and repair defective systems while ensuring safety protocols are followed and on-time service delivery.

You will respond to work orders, coordinate with customers and the office, and be ready for occasional evenings and weekend on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a service technician in HVAC.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience with medium to large tonnage commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, commercial refrigeration, or boilers is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and communication with customers and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, maintain, and adjust HVAC equipment; troubleshoot defective systems.
• Respond to work order requests promptly and accurately.
• Work with customers and office staff to convey work needed and performed.
• Be available for some evenings and weekend on-call rotation.
