Job summary

Kaleida Health in Williamsville, NY, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the MFS Repairs & Maintenance team. The role involves repairing, replacing, modifying and installing physical plant refrigeration, HVAC and related equipment.

Qualified candidates have a City of Buffalo Stationary Engineers license, EPA 608 Certification, and 4+ years’ experience with HVAC systems and boiler room equipment, plus the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Current first class City of Buffalo Stationary Engineers license.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• Minimum four (4) years’ experience with HVAC‑Refrigeration and boiler room/facility equipment.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace, modify, and install refrigeration, HVAC, and other physical plant equipment.
• Diagnose and select course of action for equipment failures.
• Fabricate stands, bases and supports by cutting, drilling, welding, soldering and brazing as required.
• Perform related minor electrical, piping and carpentry tasks.
