Job summary

Trane Technologies in Davidson, NC invites you to join our team as a Compressor Test Technician II. This on-site role supports product development by operating HVAC equipment, managing test facilities, and collecting data to validate new products.

A degree in HVAC or related field with 5+ years of experience, or 7+ years of relevant work, is required. Proficiency with Office and EPA Universal Certification or willingness to certify are needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in HVAC or related discipline with 5+ years HVAC/compressor experience, or 7+ years experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• EPA Type Universal Certification or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Operate HVAC equipment and manage test facilities to collect and review data.
• Install, modify, and build developmental HVAC equipment per requirements.
• Set up and utilize laboratory test equipment including data acquisition systems and analyzers.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC compressors and test facilities.
