Job summary

Trane Technologies has an exciting onsite opportunity in our Engineering Test Laboratory as an Electronics Technician I. This entry-level role supports testing of new product development, sustainability, quality improvement projects, and agency compliance for Trane commercial HVAC products.

The job requires problem solving, collaboration with lab and engineering teams, and adherence to test standards. You will operate test facilities, collect data, troubleshoot, and work with engineers to ensure

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or Electromechanical required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
• Strong grasp of electronics principles and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies.
• Operate commercial HVAC equipment, control test facilities, and collect experimental data with guidance.
• Assist in end-to-end electronics testing including planning, instrumentation, and data acquisition per approved test plans.
• Assist troubleshooting and repair of Trane commercial HVAC technologies and equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in job performance and lab procedures.
