Job summary

Trane Supply is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to perform field-based commissioning and servicing at customer sites in Arden Hills, MN. The role requires hands-on installation, programming, diagnostics, and documentation of control sequences.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience, with DDC familiarity and proficiency in MS Office. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls.
• Experience with direct digital control (DDC) systems is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, programming, and setting up graphics for HVAC projects.
• End-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and servicing on client sites.
• Document point-to-point verification and sequence of operations.
• Act as the direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair needs.
• Maintain awareness of installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of DDC systems.
