Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking an Human Resource Business Partner based on-site in Owensboro, KY. You will collaborate with managers and supervisors to improve relationships, morale, and retention, while guiding day-to-day performance and employee development.

You will administer benefits, coordinate open enrollment, oversee recruiting and onboarding, and handle employee relations, safety investigations, and disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR-related field required.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of HR laws/regulations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR and safety duties for assigned area(s) and partner with managers.
• Administer employee benefits programs and open enrollment in PeopleSoft.
• Coordinate recruitment, interviews, and new hire orientation.
• Provide guidance on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Handle employee relations, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Lead accident investigations and manage injury reporting.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and laws.
