Job summary

Troon is seeking a Human Resource Generalist for the Pebble Beach property. This on-site role partners with property managers and leadership to deliver compliant, people-centered HR support across employee relations, compliance, payroll, and training.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in HR or related field, 3+ years of HR experience, knowledge of California laws, and experience with unions. Proficiency with HRIS (UKG) and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field with 3+ years HR experience
• Experience in a unionized workforce
• Knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws
• California-specific employment law requirements including SB 1343 and Paid Sick Leave
• Proficiency with HRIS (UKG) and payroll processes

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to managers and employees; resolve issues and guide decisions
• Investigate employee concerns and manage case documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and internal policies
• Coach managers on leadership skills and employee relations
• Administer payroll audits and timecard accuracy
• Collaborate with Total Rewards, TA, and Learning & Development
