Job summary

Memorial Health in Springfield, IL is seeking a Floor Care Specialist to coordinate and perform carpet and hard surface cleaning duties across the facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of floor care experience, healthcare setting experience preferred, and may hold CHEST certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of floor care experience, including running floor machines, stripping floors, shower scrubbing, bonnet buffing, extracting, and carpet spotting.
• Floor care experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• CHEST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete all carpet and hard surface care assignments.
• Direct floor care activities and support department leadership.
• Assist department leadership in training Floor Care Specialists and HK II nominees/applicants.
