Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Floor Specialist to maintain hospital flooring, carpets and resilient surfaces to a high standard. You will operate floor equipment, perform routine cleaning and adhere to safety and infection-control policies.

The role supports patient and non-patient areas, follows a regular maintenance schedule, and requires HS Diploma and 1+ years of floor-care experience.

Formación

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in care/maintenance of resilient floors preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Floor care for all resilient flooring and carpet hospital-wide.
• Operate floor equipment: vacuums, burnishers, scrubbers, wet vacs, carpet extractor.
• Know floor procedures: dust mopping, mopping, stripping, finish application, burnishing.
• Handle floor chemicals properly; follow infection control policies and PPE usage.
• Identify and report mechanical issues with floor equipment.
• Maintain floor areas in patient and non-patient spaces, offices, hallways, and restrooms to a high standard.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly floor maintenance schedules.
