Qualifications

• Fluency in Haitian Creole and English.
• Based in or able to work on-site in Camp Hill, PA.
• Minimum 1 year of interpretation experience.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
• Ability to accurately interpret concepts and meanings without omissions or additions.
• Ability to follow established interpretation protocols and professional standards.
• Familiarity with cultural concepts and the ability to communicate them appropriately when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Interpret calls and conversations between Haitian Creole and English speakers accurately and professionally.
• Follow the interpreter's code of conduct and confidentiality requirements.
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary, especially healthcare and medical terminology.
• Participate in internal training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
