California Polytechnic State University’s Art and Design department seeks a Graphic Design Technician to support labs and printing spaces, coordinate access, and provide technical and instructional assistance to classes and students.

You will supervise student assistants, assist with equipment maintenance, order supplies, and collaborate with faculty to ensure smooth operation of the ADRC, VRC, and related spaces.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Mac/PC workstations, high-end color printers, plotters, and scanners.
• Experience using and troubleshooting Adobe Creative Suite and other design software on Mac and PC.
• Understanding workflows in industry-standard software for graphic, interaction, and web design.
• Ability to troubleshoot image reproduction and coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repair.
• Experience assisting undergraduate students and faculty with a wide range of technical issues in labs.
