Job summary

PCI Productions LLC in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Government Shipping and Logistics Technician to manage shipping, receiving, and care for government property and artifacts within the NASA NCS program at Marshall Space Flight Center. The role is 100% on-site with duties spanning fulfillment, inventory, and event support.

The candidate will maintain property records, support warehouse operations, and coordinate with management and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area from an accredited college/university.
• Ten years of relevant experience.
• Strong oral and written communications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Understanding of FAR 52.245-1 and NFS 1852.245-71 requirements.
• Preferred NPMA property certifications (CPPS/CPPA/CPPM).
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASTM E53).
• Knowledge of auditing techniques and artifact care.

Responsibilities

• Perform property self-assessments and maintain Property Management System in approved status.
• Oversee Government Property administration per FAR/NFS requirements.
• Handle daily shipping/receiving and related paperwork.
• Care, control, storage, and maintenance of artifacts.
• Plan maintenance, repair, and damage mitigation for the collection.
• Document loaned property and track inventory.
• Develop metrics for internal control and audits.
• Prepare property procedures and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Generate routine/ad-hoc reports for management and customers.
• Interact with management, customers, and the public.
• Handle on-site outreach at public/community events.
• Move items on/off shelves and set up/tear down at events.
• Occasional travel may be required.
