Job summary

Gothic Landscape is seeking an On-site Golf Course Maintenance Horticulture Gardener in San Diego, CA. The role involves hands-on garden care for landscapes at a premier resort, with a schedule Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm and strong emphasis on turf and horticulture.

Ideal candidates will have CA landscape experience, tools handling skills, a CA Driver’s license, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions, including potential overtime. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge with CA landscapes and turf maintenance in resort settings.
• Ability to discuss plants with guests and educate about the garden.
• Associates degree or higher in Horticulture preferred; CA Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning, weed removal, turf maintenance, light irrigation repairs, and pest/disease applications.
• Work daily with the garden crew on site.
• Educate guests and clients about plants in the garden/property.
