Job summary

Solidus Resources, LLC is seeking a Process Operations Superintendent to establish and lead crusher, conveying, heap leach and heap-building activities for a new gold processing operation at the Lovelock, NV site. You will recruit and develop operations teams, support commissioning, startup and long-term operations, and ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of relevant experience in operations leadership.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors, heap leach construction and dust-control systems.
• Experience operating an ADR facility.
• Strong knowledge of gold pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy and experimental design.
• Experience supervising technical staff.
• Knowledge of metallurgical accounting practices and procedures.
• Proven ability to lead innovative projects from concept through design.
• Experience presenting and publishing high-quality technical work.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible safety leadership and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Direct process operations crews and set clear expectations for safety, production and conduct.
• Coordinate with leach pad, ADR, maintenance, metallurgy, technical services, finance, safety and environmental teams.
• Maintain safe, reliable and environmentally compliant plant operations.
• Coach, train and develop employees through onboarding and mentoring.
• Participate in recruitment, performance management and employee development.
