Job summary

Concentra is seeking a general surgeon to join on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. The role involves a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly to complement your existing practice, with compensation based on a revenue share model.

The candidate will provide non-surgical and surgical care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal work-related injuries, collaborate with medical and therapy teams, and participate in case management. Licensure, DEA, board status, and malpractice insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries.
• Licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university.
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery.
• Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage while on site.

Responsibilities

• Half a day per week or biweekly.
• Flexible scheduling with consideration of your private practice.
