Job summary

DuPont Towanda site seeks a General Operator to operate plant equipment and processes per SOPs, ensuring safe, on-time production of film products used in electronics. You will support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while performing required training and potentially earning a powered equipment license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to rotate assignments and work overtime as needed.
• Lift up to 55 lbs; perform physical tasks including stairs and ladders.
• Willingness to obtain powered equipment license and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate site equipment and processes per SOPs to ensure quality and on-time production.
• Maintain safety and environmental standards and follow Unit policies.
• Support continuous improvement and lean/six sigma initiatives where applicable.
• Complete training and assignments timely to contribute as a team member and independent contributor.
• Possess or obtain required licenses and participate in Emergency Response Team activities.
