Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a hands-on Cylinder Coordinator in York, PA to assist with cylinder ordering, inventory, and on-site management across local and remote facility locations.

You will handle cylinders from 10 to 750 lbs, learn NFPA 99 handling rules, and coordinate with customer facilities and JD Edwards systems, while ensuring accurate billing and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; additional education or trade skills preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customers and internal plant teams.
• Computer literacy required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance to enter refineries and chemical plants.
• Knowledge of cylinder hoses is a significant plus.
• Ability to safely move heavy loads up to 1200 lbs and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cylinder ordering and plant communication, plus on-site inventory management.
• Coordinate with remote facility locations and maintain local inventories.
• Support cylinder disbursement while following NFPA 99 handling procedures.
• Handle cylinders ranging from 10 lbs to 750 lbs as part of daily workload.
• Retrieve cylinders per NFPA 99 chapter 9 handling requirements.
• Perform cylinder billing with JD Edwards interactions and tracking.
• Interact with facilities staff, clinical staff, and administrators as needed.
• Assist with JD Edwards order entry, cylinder tracking, and order selection.
• Manage inventory on patient floors to meet environment-of-care standards.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate internally.

• Products include industrial, specialty, lab standard andpossibly medical grade gases.
• This requires the ability to learn and apply ofCGA, NFPA, DOT and other relevant standards
• You will support cylinder disbursementwhile following proper handling procedures as required by NFPA 99chapter 9
• This also requires physical labor, with cylinders ranging from10lbs to 750 lbs. (Dewar's)

• Perform cylinder billing including plant communication, Accustar Handheld,Cylinder Tracking, and JD Edwards interactions
• You will interact with customers such as facilities support staff, clinicalstaff, and occasionally facilitty administrators

• Manage inventory for both in-use anddepleted cylinders. Maintaining proper inventory on patient floors isessential for meeting environment-of-care standards
