Job summary

Linde plc in Hillside, IL is seeking a data-focused professional to support cylinder tracking and order-to-cash processes. You will reconcile data discrepancies, perform accounting adjustments in the cylinder tracking program and JD Edwards ERP, and document best practices.

You will maintain data integrity, collaborate with branches, audit cylinders, generate KPIs for operations, and help optimize inventory and spending.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred with 2–4 years of relevant business experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and independence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve data discrepancies and perform accounting adjustments in the cylinder tracking program and JD Edwards ERP system.
• Document best practices and SOPs to enhance process clarity.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve the cylinder tracking process.
• Maintain data integrity within the cylinder tracking system.
• Provide support and expertise on cylinder tracking program, handheld device functionality, and JD Edwards implementation and administration.
• Manage spending and inventory levels related to cylinder tracking materials.
• Collaborate with branches and users to ensure compliance with cylinder tracking requirements.
• Create and deliver key performance metrics to operations regarding compliance with the cylinder tracking program.
• Perform physical cylinder audits at customer sites, including preparation, site visits, cylinder counts, and reporting results.
• Manage and resolve cylinder balances within JD Edwards and the cylinder tracking program.
• Understand and support order to cash business processes and system interactions.
