Job summary

Horizon Bradco is seeking an experienced Hotside Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial gas and electric cooking equipment at customer locations. You will handle gas ignition issues, trace electrical faults, and ensure safe, dependable operation.

This role requires hands-on expertise with gas-fired and electric appliances, the ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals, and the discipline to follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing commercial gas and electric cooking equipment.
• Proficient with multimeter and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair independently.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations.
• Ability to perform physical field duties.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain ovens, ranges, fryers, griddles, broilers, steamers and other foodservice equipment.
• Diagnose gas ignition, burners, valves, regulators, thermocouples, and flame-sensing components.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and controls.
• Read wiring diagrams and service manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance and verify operation after repairs.
• Follow safety requirements including lockout/tagout and safe gas-handling practices.
• Communicate findings and status to customers and team.
• Complete service documentation and manage parts/inventory.
• Maintain tools, vehicle, and inventory.
