Job summary

Furniture Medic By TX-Com is seeking a self-motivated individual to perform restoration on all types of furniture and cabinetry. The role requires on-site visits to residential and commercial customers, including insurance claim inspections.

Responsibilities include performing services efficiently, representing the company professionally, and attending training to improve production, sales, and supervision. Proactive communication with management about issues with equipment is expected.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of furniture restoration including vintage furniture, touchup, cabinet construction and finishing processes.
• Proficiency with common woodworking tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all services assigned carefully, promptly and efficiently.
• Represent our company so that the Furniture Medic image is always enhanced in the eyes of all customers and insurance partners.
• Willingness to learn: to develop and maintain skills and to attend training sessions as required.
• To contribute to the improvement of Furniture Medic in areas related to production, sales, and supervision.
• Communicate with management any issues or malfunctions with equipment or product.
• Maintain positive attitude while resolving production, mechanical and scheduling difficulties which may arise on occasion.
