Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a school-based role in Redwood City, CA. The BCBA will provide therapy, conduct FBAs, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.

The ideal candidate holds BCBA certification and a related master's degree, with experience in school settings and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required (BACB).
• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions.
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required.
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students.
• Conduct assessments to inform program planning.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, BIPs, and progress evaluations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Assist families to support consistency between school and home.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Handle guaranteed hours including documentation and planning time.
