Job summary

Sammons Industrial, LLC is hiring a Technician 2 to work on-site in Baton Rouge, LA. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding forklifts and related equipment to keep customer material handling systems running safely and reliably.

The position requires 3+ years of forklift repair experience, strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, and the ability to work with tools while adhering to safety and OSHA guidelines. On-site work with ESOP and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of forklift repair or related experience.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to furnish own tools and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild forklifts and other material handling equipment including engines, hydraulics, electrical, brakes, steering, and lifting systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to identify mechanical and safety concerns.
• Follow safety standards and OSHA/DOT requirements while maintaining a Safety First mindset.
