Akima Facilities Operations (AFO), an Akima company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to support operations in Chambersburg, PA. This on-site role requires safe operation of forklifts and adherence to site safety protocols.

Qualified candidates possess 1–3 years of forklift experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Security Clearance. Certification on forklifts up to 36K may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates manually controlled forklifts to transport goods and materials.
• Moves materials within warehouses, manufacturing plants or other facilities.
• Follows all safety guidelines established by LEAD while operating equipment.
• Operates and maintains certification on forklifts up to 36K capacity, based on mission requirements.
• Obtains forklift license upon request and as required for the role.
