Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking an Analytical Lab Technician to join our team. The role performs analytical testing, equipment maintenance, data collection, and documentation to support product quality and food safety across the Utz network of laboratories.

This on-site position works Monday through Friday with cross-functional project involvement. The candidate will lead projects, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and travel to manufacturing locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s in science or equivalent.
• 3 years’ lab experience in QA, food manufacturing, or R&D.
• Experience with snack-food testing and sensory evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise analytical testing on materials and samples.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment daily.
• Document data and summarize results for projects.
• Lead analytical projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives.
• Travel to manufacturing sites to support lab work as needed.
