Job summary

Alliance Used Truck Center ' Five Star Fire is seeking a qualified service technician to work on Emergency Vehicles on site and at our facility. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and replacing engine, fuel, air, electrical, and HVAC components, and testing pumps to NFPA standards.

You will document work orders and support other technicians as needed. We offer medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401k with 10% employer match, paid training and certifications, and a monthly bonus

Qualifications

• Inspect and repair emergency-vehicle components
• Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and replace engine, fuel, air, electrical, and cooling components
• Repair equipment like light towers, reels, and auxiliary charging systems
• Test fire apparatus pumps per NFPA standards and verify function after service
• Complete work orders with time, parts, and consumables
• Ensure service quality to minimize comebacks
• Assist junior technicians with diagnostics
• May service other vehicle types if required
