Job summary

State Systems, Inc. is seeking a dependable Fire Alarm Technician to install, program, and service commercial fire alarm and low voltage systems in accordance with NFPA standards and AHJ requirements.

You will work on-site in Northeast Arkansas, interact with project teams, complete reports, and help maintain safety code compliance while contributing to long-term growth in a safety-driven company. Experience with NFPA 72 and basic computer tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in fire alarm or low voltage systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Strong problem solving and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and service fire alarm and low voltage systems.
• Perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete projects per NFPA 72 and AHJ standards.
• Test components like detectors and pull stations.
• Troubleshoot electrical/low voltage issues with diagnostics.
• Communicate job status to supervisors and customers.
• Use company software to complete reports and logs.
• Collaborate with team for continuous improvement.
• Ensure work safety and maintain equipment and vehicle.
