Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the on-site finance function at Etihad Park, Queens, NY. This role oversees the Finance Department, ensures policy compliance, and drives budgeting, forecasting, and reporting aligned with client needs.

The candidate will bring 5–7 years in public accounting or financial management, a BS in Accounting or Finance, and strong analytical and confidential information handling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5–7 years of public accounting or financial management experience at supervisory level.
• Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with audits and internal controls.
• Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance Department and ensure compliance with Legends Global policies.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the client and Legends Global.
• Manage cash flow monitoring and financial controls, including audits as needed.
• Review and approve contracts impacting financials and settlements.
• Lead internal audits and support union contract administration when requested.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and performance analyses.
