Advanced Compressor Technology (ACT) is seeking a Field Service Representative to join our team in Batavia, IL. The role focuses on on-site troubleshooting, installation, disassembly, inspection, repair, and overhaul of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors at customer locations.

You will work independently or with a service team to ensure equipment reliability, safe operation, and customer satisfaction, adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience with compressors or rotating equipment and ability to read manuals.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and service manuals.
• Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site mechanical service on centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and overhaul rotating equipment.
• Document actions and maintain logs; communicate with supervisor.
• Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance during field work.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting per manufacturer specifications.
