Job summary

Advanced Compressor Technology (ACT) seeks a Field Service Representative to perform on-site mechanical service, maintenance, and repair of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors at customer locations.

The role focuses on field troubleshooting, installation, disassembly, inspection, repair, and overhaul of rotating equipment per manufacturer specs and company procedures. Opportunities include training and safety-focused work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience with compressors or rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, service manuals, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude for field operations.
• Willingness to travel and participate in ongoing training/assessments.

Responsibilities

• Service and provide preventive and corrective field mechanical service on Centrifugal and Reciprocating compressors.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble components; inspect bearings and rotors; ensure proper tolerances.
• Maintain safety procedures and document actions and reports.
