Herc Rentals in the United States is seeking a Field Service Mechanic B who will provide expert mechanical support, maintain fleet at customer sites, and operate with minimal supervision. You will diagnose, repair, and service heavy equipment while building strong relationships with customers on job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read technical schematics and manuals.
• On-site mechanical repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Herc fleet at customer sites.
• Conduct oil changes, lubrication, tire replacements, and related services.
• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and propane systems.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and detailed service logs.
• Communicate with customers and educate on proper equipment use.
