Hoffman Construction Co of America seeks a Field Safety Professional to lead on-site safety efforts at a Childress, TX project. You will safeguard compliance with regulatory, owner, and company policies while driving an injury-free work environment and coaching field teams.

The role requires strong safety knowledge, 5+ years in construction safety, CPT/CHST/CSP preferred, and proficiency with Windows/Office. Per diem and incentives accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of five years of construction safety related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in safety or related field preferred.
• CHST or CSP certifications preferred; OSHA 500 for construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dedicate 80%+ of time to observing/correcting field safety conditions, audits, and coaching craft personnel.
• Interact professionally with all employees to promote safe acts and conditions.
• Cultivate an injury- and accident-free work environment.
• Identify, evaluate, and correct hazardous conditions and practices.
• Train personnel on new employee orientation and safety programs; document training.
• Conduct and document safety inspections and follow-up on violations.
• Ensure subcontractors wear PPE and comply with regulations.
• Visit site after injuries/incidents; preserve evidence and assist analysis.
• Perform Industrial Hygiene monitoring and maintain records as needed.
