Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services seeks a Risk Control Consultant II to help policyholders improve workplace safety, reduce losses, and strengthen risk management practices. The role partners with insureds across industries, providing technical guidance and supporting informed business decisions with underwriting and senior management.

The ideal candidate will be near Chicago and able to travel for on-site visits.

Qualifications

3+ years of insurance industry experience in Workers' Compensation and/or other commercial lines.
Knowledge of exposures, controls, and loss prevention strategies.
Excellent organization, planning, project management, and time management skills.
Ability to influence and motivate internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide risk control consultation and evaluation services for new and renewal commercial multi-line business.
Prepare reports, analyze data, and identify injury and loss trends to aid underwriting and insured management.
Provide ongoing technical support to policyholders, producers, and other customers on safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
Assist segment partners in meeting objectives in local and regional operating plans.
Stay current on industry trends, exposures, and market demands.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
