democracyFIRST is seeking a democracyFIRST Field Organizer to join onsite campaigns in Grand Rapids, MI, Marshall, and Paw Paw as part of the Michigan GOTV effort. Start ASAP; end date November 3, 2026.

The role focuses on door-to-door outreach, phone banking, and mobilizing voters to support pro-democracy candidates in the fall 2026 cycle. Ideal candidates have at least one election cycle of organizing or related experience, strong Google Workspace skills, and the ability to meet targets while

Qualifications

• At least 1 election cycle of organizing or managing experience.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Flexible, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings (GOTV).

Responsibilities

• Meet daily and weekly door knocking and phone call goals set by the Field Director.
• Remain accountable to metric goals set by Field Director and broader field plan.
• Build a strong and supportive team culture.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
