Job summary

The Field Engineer position supports the field operations team to collect, evaluate and coordinate information required to construct the project per contract documents. The role ensures safety, schedule adherence and high-quality workmanship on site.

Reporting to the Project Superintendent, the incumbent performs layout, safety program support, daily reports, and coordination reviews with emphasis on teamwork and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education in Engineering or Construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and grade work for building layout and control.
• Assist in implementing the site safety program and ensure subcontractor safety compliance.
• Assist in maintaining contract documents and electronic field operation records.
• Assist in preparing Daily Construction Reports (DCRs).
• Review work for adherence to tolerances and drawings for coordination.
• Assist in preparing project as-builts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
