Job summary

SME Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Field Service Technician with HVAC specialty in the Kent/Seattle area. The role focuses on installing and maintaining fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and related systems, with strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

We provide fully paid training and certifications to advance your career. You will work with wellsestablished equipment, travel to sites, and participate in overtime/on-call duties.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 HVAC certification preferred; WA Specialty license or ability to obtain is a plus.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on HVAC experience including diagnostics, repair, refrigerant handling and preventative maintenance.
• Mechanical skills with hand and basic power tools are required.
• Basic computer skills to use laptops and tablets proficiently.
• Experience with fieldwork and customer interaction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC systems, diagnose issues, test systems and perform refrigerant charging.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, inspect equipment, verify controls and electrical integrity, document performance.
• Maintain fuel dispensers and components, replace nozzles and hoses, and test for leaks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues at dispensers or POS systems; follow safety protocols and document work using laptop/iPad.
• Keep vehicle organized and stocked; drive to customer sites and shop locations; overnight stays paid as needed.
