Job summary

SME Solutions, LLC. in Kent/Seattle area is seeking a Field Service Technician with HVAC specialization. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, provide preventative maintenance, and support fuel dispensers and related equipment.

The role requires 1–3 years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 certification (Universal preferred), and basic laptop/tablet skills. Expect travel to job sites with paid travel time and a safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC certification preferred (EPA 608 Universal).
• 1–3 years HVAC field experience with diagnostics and maintenance.
• Basic computer and tablet skills required.
• Mechanical, electrical and plumbing familiarity preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Kent/Seattle area with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC systems with diagnostics and refrigerant handling.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Service fuel dispensers and related components (nozzles, hoses, meters).
• Drive to customer sites, document work, and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with tank monitoring and other fuel distribution systems.
