Job summary

Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) seeks an entry-level Field Engineer to support active commercial construction projects on-site, working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role focuses on developing field knowledge, coordinating with clients, architects, and subcontractors, and contributing to cost control and documentation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in CPPI’s dynamic

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or related field experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn CPPI processes and procedures
• Ability to develop client relationships
• Excellent organizational skills and construction management knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work flexible hours in construction industry

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations ensuring safety, cleanliness, and schedule adherence
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers with Project Manager and Superintendent
• Prepare and distribute meeting notes, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Budget, manage, and forecast resources including labor, equipment, and materials
• Ensure compliance with building codes and OSHA safety standards
• Identify and resolve workflow issues to keep projects on track
• Support site logistics and tool/material tracking
• Obtain and manage required permits and licenses
• Assist with risk identification and mitigation
• Ensure contract conditions of performance are met
• Maintain project documentation and safety reports
• Apply company policies and participate in training and events
• Uphold safety standards and report issues promptly
• Support client satisfaction throughout project delivery
• Perform additional duties as assigned
