Job summary

Comet Cloud in Dallas is seeking an on-site hardware Field Engineer to install, configure, and maintain production-grade GPU clusters and related data center hardware.

You will work on the floor, perform safe component replacements, support remote engineers, and grow into deployment leads and systems engineers as the fleet expands. This role requires hands-on hardware experience, knowledge of Linux, networking basics, and a passion for reliable, safe change management.

Qualifications

• Experience with break/fix on production systems.
• Hands-on deployment and maintenance of hardware.
• Familiar with change-control processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, deploy and maintain on-site hardware.
• Perform safe component replacements and troubleshooting.
• Support remote engineers and on-site clients.
• Work with GPU clusters, InfiniBand, and liquid cooling.
