Job summary

Fenner Dunlop Americas Inc. is seeking an Application Engineering Specialist to perform on-site conveyor belt surveys and technical assessments at customer locations across the United States and abroad.

You will document field conditions, collect measurements, and provide data-driven recommendations to support belt replacement, technical services, and related products. You will work closely with outside sales, inside sales, distributors, and service teams to capture accurate field information,

Qualifications

• Technical, mechanical, industrial, or engineering-related background.
• Ability to inspect, measure, photograph, document, and communicate technical field information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and professionalism in customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site conveyor belt surveys and inspections at diverse industrial sites.
• Document belt conditions, belt width, length, carcass type, covers, splices, and operating conditions.
• Prepare complete survey reports with photographs, measurements, and observations to support quotes and recommendations.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of working time, including overnight travel.
• Collaborate with sales, distributors, and technical teams to identify service and product opportunities.
