Job summary

Lynker Technologies is seeking an IT Security Analyst to safeguard mission-critical infrastructure for the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC). You will work closely with the ISSO and contractor staff to maintain a robust security posture, continuous ATO, and compliance with federal cybersecurity standards.

Onsite work at the Stennis facility is required. Ideal candidates have strong RMF experience, familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, and a proven track record with federal agencies and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• Security+ certification; CISSP certification is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity with RMF/IA.
• Experience with federal agency guidelines and audit cycles.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and RMF processes.
• Ability to author technical artifacts (SSPs, RARs, POA&Ms).
• Experience translating DISA STIGs and CIS Benchmarks into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain RMF artifacts (SSPs, RARs, POA&Ms).
• Lead audits and A&A activities and drive remediation actions.
• Perform vulnerability scans using Nessus/ACAS and guide hardening.
• Conduct Security Impact Analyses for changes and assess risk.
• Monitor logs and mitigate threats across hybrid infrastructure.
• Translate controls into actionable requirements for IT staff.
• Keep related documentation up to date.
