Job summary

Tactibit Technologies LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to safeguard mission-critical systems for federal operations. You will identify vulnerabilities and implement robust security measures in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You will collaborate with Information Assurance Engineers, ISSOs, auditors, and operations teams to maintain compliance with RMF and NIST 800-53, review threats, and support continuous monitoring and incident response.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity experience in federal or regulated environments.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with ability to pass a background investigation.
• Experience with security controls, risk management, and compliance assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies and guidelines aligned with NIST 800-53 and federal frameworks.
• Support RMF processes: categorize systems, select controls, and perform continuous monitoring.
• Maintain SSPs and security control documentation; prepare A&A artifacts.
• Review vulnerability scans and collaborate on remediation; monitor POA&Ms and deadlines.
• Analyze logs and network traffic to identify threats; ensure secure configurations across systems.
• Assist audits, security control assessments, and compliance reviews; stay updated on threats and defenses.

Education
