Job summary

LaSalle Network is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on federal and public agency projects. You will supervise multiple trades and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on USACE projects across remote or shifting locations.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of federal project experience, OSHA/EM certifications, and strong leadership with subcontractors. This on-site role in Des Plaines, IL offers hands-on ownership through mobilization to closeout.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of federal/public agency project experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction preferred, or comparable experience.
• OSHA 30-hour and EM 385 certifications within last 5 years.
• OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
• NAVFAC ECATTS certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide field supervision across civil, force protection, electrical, carpentry, and finishes.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, building codes, and permits.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with the project team.
• Review submittals from subcontractors and vendors.
• Lead field operations from mobilization through closeout and commissioning.
• Monitor labor hours, RFIs, submittals, safety, and quality.
• Coordinate with client on-site representatives and manage subcontractors.
