Job summary

Spreetail is expanding its in-house Facilities Technician team to support warehouse operations across the United States. You will act as the primary on-site technical resource, maintaining MHE, conveyors, rack systems, and facility infrastructure, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

We seek a hands-on technician with experience in conveyor systems, PIT, electrical/mechanical systems, and CMMS usage to minimize downtime and ensure safe, reliable fulfillment operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an industrial, facilities, or maintenance technician in a warehouse, distribution, or similar environment.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing conveyor and sortation systems, MHE, and industrial facility systems.
• Formal technical education, certifications, or training in conveyor system repair and maintenance, PIT, and electrical or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on MHE, conveyors, rack systems, and facility infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety) as per code.
• Diagnose equipment failures and respond to downtime events with urgency to restore operations safely and efficiently; coordinate with external vendors when needed.
• Serve as on-site facilities point of contact for warehouse leadership, partnering with operations to minimize disruption during repairs.
• Maintain asset registries for MHE, conveyance, racking, and facility systems; use CMMS to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
