Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our San Pedro location. This full-time, on-site role covers painting, carpentry, plumbing and general building upkeep to ensure safe and efficient facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years’ experience or equivalent.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Ability to read and write at required level.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in the building.
• Repair leaky faucets, toilets, dispensers, and unclog plumbing as needed.
• Wall cleaning, painting, plaster and drywall repairs.
• Repair and replace doors and windows as required.
• Operate and maintain a variety of mechanical tools and equipment.
