Job summary

The Salvation Army Bellingham is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Lead/Janitor for our Bellingham Corps in Washington. This full-time, on-site role supports Housing, Food Bank, and Chapel areas, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm and some flexibility based on tasks.

Responsibilities include maintenance planning, cleaning across facilities, vehicle upkeep, and program setup. Candidates need a HS diploma (or GED) and custodial experience, plus a valid WA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year custodial work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow a weekly and annual maintenance schedule.
• Keep all facilities clean and organized including restrooms, kitchens, Chapel, and offices.
• Maintain and clean vehicles, including oil changes and fuel checks.
• Set up/tear down for programs; maintain exteriors and landscaping.
• Perform building maintenance to ensure a safe environment and report needs.
