Job summary

Doc’s Diesel Limited in Bryan, OH is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance professional to keep our facilities, grounds, and equipment in top shape. This on-site role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep to ensure a safe, functional workspace.

You’ll manage scheduling, track records for vehicles and tools, and coordinate with team on improvements and safety. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in facility maintenance and strong mechanical skills; forklift and diesel

Qualifications

• 2+ years facility or equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate common maintenance tools safely.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Understanding of diesel maintenance preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property through mowing, landscaping, seasonal care.
• Complete warehouse and office improvement projects.
• Perform or coordinate repairs on tools, machinery, equipment.
• Run weekly preventive maintenance on forklift fleet and equipment.
• Inspect conveyor system and racking for wear or damage.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Maintain a safe warehouse environment through proactive repairs.
• Handle monthly facility upkeep and vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Schedule and track preventive maintenance for vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records for all vehicles and tools.
• Monitor supply levels and reorder parts as necessary.
• Operate the cardboard compactor and other facility equipment safely.
• Own the cardboard compactor, wood dumpster, and pallet organization.
