Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Facilities & Engineering Production Planner/Master Scheduler to manage moves and production planning on the SSF campus. You will plan schedules, coordinate equipment moves, and ensure customer commitments are met while maintaining GMP and EHS standards.

This on-site role requires coordinating across MRO, LES, CoolOps and MOLS, supervising contractors, and maintaining a stable 4–6 week horizon. Strong planning and data-management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a 2-year technical degree, equivalent military training, or 5+ years in industrial environments.
• Experience in industrial moving procedures, rigging and handling of sensitive materials.
• Ability to lead external contractors and specialized service teams.
• Strong safety knowledge and compliance with protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage all work order requests for equipment/item moves on the SSF campus.
• Oversee a team of moving contractors and moving trucks.
• Plan and coordinate move requests for equipment and items across SSF site locations (Dixon, Santa Clara, Pleasanton).
• Ensure GMP and EHS requirements and customer needs are met.
• Collaborate with MRO, LES, CoolOps and MOLS teams to coordinate moves.
