Job summary

Genentech, a member of the Roche group, seeks a Facilities & Engineering Production Planner/Master Scheduler to plan and schedule final production cycles, coordinate moves on the SSF campus, and ensure on-time completion per GMP and EHS requirements.

You will lead a team of moving contractors, interface with customers and vendors, and optimize resources and capacity while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships; relocation benefits may apply and a discretionary annual bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a 2-year technical degree (Instrumentation/Industrial Electronics or related STEM/engineering field) or equivalent military technical training.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or R&D environments.
• Experience in industrial moving procedures, rigging, and handling of sensitive materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor final approval of products through the full production cycle.
• Oversee move requests for equipment/instruments on the SSF campus and coordinate with contractors to meet service levels.
• Maintain 4–6 week planned work horizon and ensure on-time completion by the basic finish date.
• Report metrics, optimize resources, and communicate with customers, vendors and internal partners.
• Ensure GMP, EHS and customer requirements are met and drive continuous improvement.
